In this video I take you through an excellent 10-minute aerobic cardio workout that you can do right in your own home any time it is convenient. I recommend you do this every day if you are trying to lose weight or even just to reduce stress. Doing regular cardio exercise is so important for a healthy heart, and overall fitness of your body. Cardiovascular exercise is any type of exercise that increases the work of the heart and lungs which is what you will do in this video. My routine is comprised of 5 different energizing cardio exercises that will get your heart pumping and you burning calories. I do the exercises right along with you so you can see proper form with your arms, legs and feet, and stay motivated. I will go through the five exercises 3 times for a total of 10 minutes. Want more cardio workout exercise; simply replay the tape and you will now have a 20 minute workout. Replay it again and you have a 30 minute workout! That’s quite a challenge!!! @TheDivababy3 Hi, you will probably burn less than 150, probably about 120, but that also depends on how intense you do the exercise. I recommend doing cardio 3-4 times a week for best results.

@BrittanyDfufu Hi, I’m sorry to hear you’re so sore. Give your legs a rest and let them heal before you resume exercise again. You are just not use to this level of intensity, but the good news is that you will get less sore each time you do as your body gets used to the new challenge. This is very common when someone starts exercising vigorously and has not done it for a while.

I did this two days ago, and my calf muscles are in constant pain. They feel like the muscle is constantly tightened and it hurts really bad going down stairs. I even walk funny, and haven’t walked normal the past few days. Is this good or bad?

@Marialeecha Hi, it sounds like you may have shin splints. This is very common and usually caused by overuse. Give your legs a break for a few days and apply ice to your shins. There are exercises you can do that will help to build up the muscles in that area to help prevent this. I’ve had them too. I get them from running too much or doing too much high impact aerobics. Wrapping them will help during exercise, but resting them is the way to get rid of it.

My first time and I managed 6 mintutes. Wow I need to get my fitness up, I’m sure this will help, am going to do it twice a day as much as I can ~ I’m sure within 2 weeks I’ll notice a difference in my fitness~ hehe! Thanks os much for this, it’s brilliant.

@FueIedByPocky I just controlled my food intake and exercised 5-6 times a week. Good luck and don’t be discouraged if you don’t see results right away :-)

I’ve been doing this exercise for a while now. You’ve made a terrific video, and you always motivate me.
But I think I may have a problem: when I am jogging and jumping on my feet, the inner sides of my legs hurt. It feels kind of like a bruise inside of my legs. Should I continue with the rutine?

It was a good workout, I was sweating half way through. I did pilates before this, and I’ve lost weight. I have asthma, so I had to stop and use my inhaler half way through, and I had to re-hydrate, which I wish you gave a hydration pause in this video. Really good.

@Sanavapiits My pleasure! Be sure you let your neck muscles heal enough before you begin doing the sit ups again. Doing sit-ups actually does strengthen your neck, so it is possible that you are feeling the effects more than usual because your muscles are sore. I still get that sometimes as well. It usually happens to me after I lift weights because I’ve already used my neck muscles a bit to lift weights.

At first I did the sit-ups wrong but now I know how to do them and my neck still hurts. I guess my neck muscles need a little bit more training. I sure will tell you when the big day comes:) Once again, Thank you for the amazing video and response.
